At Wake Up Music Group, we love reflecting on the moments that define our journey, especially when they mark groundbreaking “firsts” for our label family.
Looking back at how the ET Boys closed out 2025, they didn’t just end the year strong—they made absolute label history. Their hit single “Woe Am I” took the top of the Digital Radio Tracker (DRT) Independent Chart, staying frozen at #1 for three weeks in a row! Holding down the throne for three straight weeks on a major independent chart was an incredible milestone for both the ET Boys and Wake Up Music Group. After all the hard work, late nights, and endless voting, our CEO Pepper Gomez finally caught up with the guys in the exact same room to hand over their official commemorative plaques. As you can see from the photos, getting them both smiling in the same frame simultaneously was another legendary first!
The Power of Pure Belief
An achievement this massive doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It takes a dedicated village of true music champions to break independent boundaries, and we owe a massive debt of gratitude to the radio trailblazers who keep the music spinning:
- Jkristyleindieradio Memphis: Thank you for your unwavering platform and dedication to pushing raw indie talent to the airwaves.
- Tavaron Marshall: A very special, deeply felt thank you goes out to Tavaron. Your endless, fierce belief in the ET Boys is the ultimate fuel that keeps everyone’s creative motivation high.
Fast Forward to Summer 2026 🌊
It is wild to see how quickly time flies when you’re making moves. Fast forward to right now—Summer 2026—and that momentum hasn’t slowed down for a single second. With the ET Boys currently dominating new charts with tracks like “queremos rock (go thru the motions)” and “that’s all i wanted (microdose zyzz)”, looking back at our “Woe Am I” plaque presentation reminds us exactly what we are capable of.
To the fans, the DJs, the label team, and the music lovers: enjoy it all! Peace, love, and endless gratitude. ✌🏼❤️🙏
