Crazy synchronicities. In a storage room - AEMMP Records finds the 1/2 inch original tape (yes we recorded on tape - no autotune) of my first project (a remake of “pushing too hard”) which they signed. And I just moved the OG 1985 Memorex cassette to wav.  Let’s see what other goodies 2026 has in store for us. ✌🏼❤️

The sitar is a demanding instrument. My first instrument after the piano - at age 16. I haven’t had much time to practice this year but she is so jealous and punishing as my fingers are on fire from playing these past few days. My calluses were literally so wimpy that I can only play a few minutes. Yesterday, I made it to 7 mins. I have to play daily no matter what and get these calluses back in shape. Not easy with kids, dishes, cooking, etc - making me wonder what women might achieve if we weren’t responsible for so much and caring for others. ✌🏼❤️🙏
